The Solstice Ceremony was an event that took place on the winster solstice, marking the unification of the witches and the shapeshifters through the blood-tie of Iliana Dominick and Raksha Keller. It was originally intended to be a promise ceremony between the Witch Child (Iliana) and the son of the First House of the shapeshifters (Galen Drache), but as Keller and Galen were destined to be soulmates, Iliana declared Keller as her blood-sister instead, which was an acceptable substitute for their two races.
